“Aperture” - Harry Styles

World-renowned heartthrob Harry Styles has returned from his hiatus with a strong, bass-driven, dance-floor disco track. His music has grown alongside his predominantly female audience, from young teenage girls thirsting over frat-boy Harry and eating up his softly sexual songs like “Lights Up” and “Cinema,” to those same listeners now, in 2026, as young women dancing in clubs to “Aperture,” doing all the drugs they swore they’d never touch when they first discovered One Direction. His unexpected return, forefronted by pulsing basslines and a glitching synth, is accompanied by the refrain “We belong together,” delivered in an almost defeated tone. It signals a new era of Harry, one aware that time has teeth. “Time won’t wait on me,” he sings as the bouncy track closes out, the bass fading out as the euphoric rush dissolves and the club’s lasers slowly dim.
